One of the good things about Idaho's "gusty" days! We get to fly kites.
I have to admit I can't remember the last time a flew a kite- or if I have even flown one. My Dad got the kids some kites awhile back and we haven't taken advantage of them. So yesterday after FHE, it had been windy all day, we decided to try them out. It was really fun! Haileys did great and she got to fly it all by herself. Evan's was a little crazy and the only time he tried to hold it he let it go to try to get his dad's attention. Needless to say we had a great time and my kids can't wait for another windy day- they probably won't have to wait very long :).
